500 fps limit with .2 gram Marui BB for all semi-auto sniper airsofts.
350 fps limit with .2 gram Marui BB for all indoor CQB style games.
Personal Protection Full face protection REQUIRED - a full paintball mask that covers both your entire face and ears must be worn at all times on the gaming fields.
Minimum Shooting Distance No shooting less than 4 feet.
Surrender In outdoor, or non-CQB situations, an order to surrender can only be given within 4 feet and from behind. All players ordered to surrender MUST COMPLY. It is conceivable that player can sneak up to within 4 feet of a group of players and order all of them to surrender.
Of players and order all of them to surrender.
Eliminations Any hit from a BB anywhere on your head or torso is elimination.
Gun hits do not count.
Friendly fire (hits from teammates) does not count.
In the event of an elimination, the eliminated player must yell "HIT!". No false calls.
If the area is clear, the eliminated player immediately exits the playing area in the most direct route possible. Either hold both hands or your airsoft above your head. If necessary, call out "HIT!" numerous times to prevent from being shot again.
If the area is "hot", the eliminated player(s) lay down on the ground and wait. It may be necessary to keep yelling "HIT!". When the area clears, exit as described above.
While exiting, the only word from an eliminated player must be "HIT" and nothing else. Dead men tell no tales.
Eliminated players may leave equipment at the spot of elimination for use of the "surviving" members. This is at the discretion of the eliminated player. Equipment must be retrieved at the spot where the player was eliminated.
Mercy Rule:
You may declare mercy on an enemy if he is within 10 feet or less, however you must have a clear line of sight and your opponent is unable to target you. If someone declares a mercy on you, you will hear “MERCY,” you may either comply by calling "HIT" and raising your weapon above your head. When you do this you are now a dead man and you will immediately make your way to your designated respawn zone or safe zone. If you don’t call "HIT" you may choose to shoot the enemy, taking the risk that you may get shot in close proximity.
Any prolonged arguments about a mercy situation will result in both players being sent to their respawn zones or safe zone. Remember: calling mercy means you are giving your enemy a courteous gesture, don’t abuse it, and be ready to shoot the enemy in case they think they can get out of the situation.

If any players have any disputes, they are expected to resolve them in a sportsman-like manner.

No blind fire at all (You must be able to see where your shots hit from behind your sights).

 Head shots are allowed.

All players are expected to uphold this code to the best of their ability.

Players will be expected to report any violations to SLA Council Members.

CHEATING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. There is a zero tolerance for cheating on this field.

Cheating

Because of the nature of Airsoft-based re-enactment, the opportunities for cheating are somewhat common. CHEATING WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE TOLERATED. Although if your adversary calls you out and you are truly are not out you can call a false hit. Each player will be given the opportunity to call two false hits per game. Cheating is not worth it. Misfortune often strikes, and not scoring many or any kills in a game happens to get the best of us. Don’t use frustration as an excuse to cheat. Sit down for a bit, discuss your strategy with your team (or even your opponents for that matter, they often know why you’re getting shot so much) and try again.

Cease Game Rule

In the event of a serious emergency or accident, there will be need to stop the game immediately and gather all players. The emergency the command CEASE GAME If you hear the emergency signal, repeat the signal, safety your weapon and head towards the safe zone.

First Aid

Selected individuals will be appointed first aid positions. In the event of an accident, these players will stop what their doing and immediately head to the accident. The Cease Game command will be given in this situation as well.

'Over Kill'

If you receive additional shots after shouting "HIT", then continue to yell "HIT" again LOUDLY. It is your duty to yell loudly that you have been hit, as sometimes it is difficult to hear players through their Paintball Goggles. If you feel you have sufficiently yelled "HIT" repeatedly but are still being shot at, leave the field of play immediately and report the incident to a Council Member at the safe zone. This is considered 'over kill' and will be dealt with by SLA Council Member.

General Conduct

The future of Airsoft depends on how we present ourselves both on and off the field. Therefore, you must endeavor to be responsible at all times by observing proper gun handling techniques.

Treat every gun as if it were loaded.
Don't point your weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot.
Treat your Airsoft weapon as if it were the real thing.
If you have any doubts as to how to handle your weapon safely, ask another player. Or, take a basic firearms safety course.
Keep your Airsoft guns in a secure and safe location so they cannot be easily accessed.
Always transport your Airsoft guns in a manner consistent with the laws governing the transport of real weapons. In a motor vehicle this generally means, unloaded and in the trunk.
Never carry Airsoft guns on your person, in a concealed manner.
Never threaten anyone with an Airsoft gun, even in jest.
Field Guidelines

Every player must be familiar with the specific rules of the field on which they play.
Field rules supersede all other guidelines in the event of conflicts.
Respect of Rules and RankEvery Cimmerian strives to act his role within the prescribed re-enactment scenario and format; faithfully executing all rules, commands from superiors, and protocols.

The Cimmerian will never resort to physical violence of any kind. Should any Cimmerian ever do so, he or she will be immediately dishonorably discharged from Cimmerian ranks.

Consideration For Others
The Cimmerian's approach to airsoft reenactment is "Treat others the way you would want them to treat you". Operators who apply this philosophy generate positive "vibes" which spread to everyone at the OP, maximizing the "fun factor."
In the Honorable Cimmerian, this spirit always prevails.
